So I tested 4 different platforms that looked like no one form year has used or knows of possibly, so I had a look at them and used some images of my own and stock to get a basic layout and see if it works and see if there's anything that wouldn't work for me.
Adobe Spark: https://spark.adobe.com/page/aIG5dLnKlzGa3/
The 1st one that I tried was spark by Adobe as its a simpler and smoother version of portfolio from what I found out as its very limited on the control you have as you can upload images, write text and use some features such as gird and glide-show which are different and interesting for any blog/web platform. The issue I had with it is that I cant tag any posts of having separate pages so all the content is on one page meaning they are all shuffled and mixed up meaning it would be hard to navigate around the site as of this. So I looked further around looking for other platforms that possibly would work better in my style and favour.
Even though I wasn't going to use it I wanted to leave the site to people to have a look and scroll through but the page isn't allowing me to publish the page as it stops 1/4 of the way when trying to publish the site so I don't have a link, so you can tell this new program has problems.
After 1 hour it finally updated and created the link to the site, this would take to much time off me as within that time I could write up another blog post.
free-website: http://baphotographyjf.my-free.website/
With the free website its good and works all round well the only issue I had with it is when designing on the site you need to have everything off centred to make it aligned online when published which is very confusing and frustrating when wanting to add another element into the site as I have to guess where it will end up on the actual site.As you can see the 'About' is off centred in the design yet on the site its fine which is my dislike about this site and this is the main reason for me not wanting to use it as this would be very problematic if I had to use and create another link to a new brief.
Other than this issue this site works very well and is detailed on displaying and analysing the number of views you got on your website and is simple to understand and you have a lot of control of the placement of the content also.
Square space: https://jan-fajga.squarespace.com
I designed the website and the site designer its self is very simple to understandable to use. The only big flaw with it is the fact its only free for the 1st 14 days then you have to pay £20 per month to keep it going and have access to edit the site still. The big factor that I would say that is good about this website designer is the amount of style you have to choose from which I guess is a must need if you are going to be paying £20pm. The thing about this is that you don't have access to move the content around, your given 100's of templates but then you must stick to that layout meaning the only thing that would make your site different to someone else would be images and content. As a designer and a hobby, this feels like I'm being limited to what I have control over such as the Adobe spark is also limiting to what you are able to control.
So overall the site is good and fun to use the only 2 big issues are the fact you have to pay £20 which isn't a big flaw but the fact I don't have a lot of choice over the style and movement is an issue for me, so for that reason I am not going to be using this site.

With this site designer, you have a wide range of control to see what you can move around and also add to the site.
So far I have decided this site as no one I would say will be using this form of design nor this site which makes my work different compared to everyone else. The only flaw that I have so far found and seen is only that when you make a blog collum you cant design or control the layout of the thumbnail image and how big it is on the sating image but other than that this site works great to what I want to use it for.
Overall I am happy with this site and will be using this one as its free to use and has a vast amount of choice and control on the site for me to do what I want with it.
