"I'm shitting a brick"

Camera used: Nikon D3200

Lens used: 18-55mm, 3.5-5.6

DSC_0497- This image isn’t great as it’s got harsh shadows and I don’t like it how strong it’s on the face
DSC_0498- This image isn’t great as it’s still got the strong shadows
DSC_0499- This image isn’t good still as it’s the exact the same as the past 2 images.
DSC_0500- I really have this image as the angle on this image is horrible as its not straight and dead flat and then the composition of the model is not what I want.
DSC_0501- This image is much more excitable as I can work with this image the only issue is that it still has the harsh shadows, and the left foot is cropped out of the image.
DSC_0502- The image still harsh shadows, the best thing I could have done here is used the reflector on the face so that you have no shadows.
DSC_0503- I really hate the background of the image as it’s not so open its more enclosed as of the wall from the house.
DSC_0504I really hate the background of the image as it’s not so open its more enclosed as of the wall from the house. BUT as an improvement the brightness and shadows on this image I am very pleased with as this is a tone that I want to have for this image.
DSC_0505- It’s the same as DSC_0504.
DSC_0506- This image is out of focus and I don’t like the angle and background of this image as it’s not straight and more at a slant and I don’t like the black car in the back ground as it’s a distraction to the rest of the image.
DSC_0507- I do like this image at the angle that is with this image and the shadows aren’t so harsh as in previous images. The only thing is that I would like to have the model at a different stance.
DSC_0508- This new stance is much better and suits the properties to what I want to achieve in the image, the next thing is ask the model to squat that extra part.
DSC_0509- In this image I have caught the model talking in the image and he’s out of place as he’s raised higher than the last image which I didn’t want.
DSC_0510- The model is in the correct position except I feel I’m slightly to close to the model, and in this image its also out of focus.DSC_0511- With this image the lighting is correct to what I want and this is similar to DSC_508 except in this image the model is more in the position that I desired to have and use.
DSC_0512- I chose to add a brick into the image to see if I could have both in the image instead of having to artificially adding this into the image in photoshop. But in this image, you can see the brick is very much covered by shadows so its barely visible.
DSC_0513- The image is out of focus and to this the brick is very dark as of the harsh shadows
DSC_0514- This image has the correct things I the image such as DSC_0511, but the issue is that the brick is too dark to what I want.
DSC_0515- I don’t like the zoom and the change of angle in this image, as the brick is even darker and the image feels much more enclosed and smaller. This is not what I’m going for.
DSC_0516- This image has the same corresponding issues as image DSC_0515.
DSC_0517- I don’t like this image as the model is speaking in this image and on top you also have that BMW in the background which is an easy distraction to the rest of the image.
DSC_0518- This image has very harsh shadows in the image again, and the angle is very titled.
DSC_0519- This image is better than the last one but the image is more out of focus.
DSC_0520- The model is in the centre but the butt of the muddle looks like its rubbing against the BMW and its very distracting.
DSC_0521- I don’t like the way I am facing in this image as its very distracting in the background.
DSC_0522- I don’t like he mage as in this image its looks like my model is having a boxing match with the blue ford ka.
DSC_0523- Tried more of an open image so shot the images at a landscape, rather than portrait. I don’t like this chose as its too open and you see too much so you don’t look at the centre of the image, which is the main point of the image.
DSC_0524- landscape!
DSC_0525- landscape!
DSC_0526- landscape!

"My phones so out of date its an actual brick"

Camera used: Nikon D610

Lens used: Nikon 85mm f1.8 G

DSC_5513- Don’t like this image as its got very harsh shadows on the model and the whole background on the left side.
DSC_5514- This image is much better improvement in lighting but the issue is that its much more out of focus and its hard to see where the key focus area of the image is.
DSC_5515- The style of the image and model was perfectly fine but the issue was that I had the model out of frame and his right hand is partly out of the frame so I dislike the image for this reason.
DSC_5516- The idea of the mage was good but its again not in full focus!!
DSC_5517- The image has no relevance to what I am trying to achieve, this image was taken to retest the lighting.
DSC_5518- I like the stance and the use of the prop that my model has done, the thing I would say is the lighting would need to be improved, so for that I would say have possibly a reflector coming from the left side so that some lighting gets bounced back into the face and chest.
DSC_5519- The image is fully out of focus again!
DSC_5520- Really like the idea of this image the only thing that I don’t like is the models face a I would prefer if it was not so angry as that’s not what I want to portray in the image.
DSC_5521- I much prefer this as and image as its much calmer and you can see what’s happing, I prefer this image to the last image, but once again this image isn’t in full focus!!
DSC_5522- This Image is much better as with this you see that the image is in full focus, the lighting is perfect to what I want and also to the model has done what I have asked.
DSC_5523- The reason I don’t like this image too much is because the back of the model is very dark and he seems too far away in the image for what I would like also.DSC_5524- the reason I favour this image is because the lighting is much better, I also like the distance of the model in the image and I like the fact that there’s no distraction in the image so the only thing you can stare at is the model and what is happing.
DSC_5525- I like this image and the reason that  like this image is that we have used the brick as a new smartphone to what a lot of people do now, which is selfies but to keep it relative to the topic we used the brick phone.
DSC_5526- This image was to show a comparison of a ‘brick phone’ compared to a smartphone, but this has a very simple and easy subject matter which is good but I don’t like on how simplistic this image is.

"What you clicken at?!"

Camera used: Nikon D610

Lens used: Nikon 85mm f1.8 G

DSC_5527- This image would have been good but the issues is that it’s out of focus.
DSC_5528- I like this image the only issue is that you have no clue on what is happing in this image as there’s no real emphasis on the clicking in this image.
DSC_5529- This image is good but I would like the model to make more of a facial expression or have better eye contact rather than looking at the floor.
DSC_5530- I don’t like this image. The reason for this is because the model looks like they may sneeze any second.
DSC_5531- I like this image as you understand what’s going on and also you have a feel like he’s clicking to a tune rather than at someone.
DSC_5532- This image isn’t any good for this part as you cant tell he is clicking his fingers in this image, until you are told.
DSC_5533- This is a great style of image that would of worked really well but it’s out of focus.
DSC_5534- The hand is too close to the main light and is brighter than the rest of the model and to this also the hand is out of focus.
DSC_5535- This image has the same issue as before, and the whole right arm is out of frame also.
DSC_5536- This image isn’t great but you see what’s trying to be shown in this image but its not the best.

"Its all about the protein"

Camera used: Nikon D610

Lens used: Nikon 85mm f1.8 G

DSC_5537- This is a good image showing anger and strength but I don’t think that this will show and works for the quote of having protein in the image.
DSC_5538- The lighting and face expression in this image is goof and it works, only thinking I would say is either I move closer or the model moves close towards me.
DSC_5539- I don’t like this image as the model looks like he’s likely more to either poo/pass out in the studio rather than show his strength and anger in this image.
DSC_5540- I don’t like this image as it seems more the face of confusion in the model rather than showing protein and strength that I wanted to portray in my work.
DSC_5541- This image doesn’t work as its still more of a confusion on what is going on in the image rather than making sense to the quote.
DSC_5542- In this image the model looks like he’s still very much confused rather than showing protein and strength. But the lighting in this image is what I want and like.

As this shoot wasn't working too well I will not be using any of these images in my final piece as you cant tell on whats going on,

"Snort that shit up"

Camera used: Nikon D610

Lens used: Nikon 85mm f1.8 G

DSC_5543- This image is out of focus and this is the reason I don’t like it.
DSC_5544- This image Is good as you can see what’s going on but I would say a way to improve this image is that the club card be in focus as this adds character to the image, which I would like.
DSC_5545- sadly this image is partly out of focus. Also the model is out of the frame and too far left, then to this he is also covering up the flour in the image.
DSC_5546- The image would have been funny and good, but the image once again is out of focus.
DSC_5547- This is a good image but the only thing I would say is that I wished that my model didn’t go crossed eyed.
DSC_5548- I wish this image was fully in focus and not just the face.
DSC_5549- My model in this image looks like he’s ready to sneeze once again rather than anything else.
DSC_5550- I most prefer this image as this is in full focus and to this its more of a joke shoot on someone sniffing things and the joke as my model is using a kfc card that can be seen.
